Hey girl! It was fun chatting with you tonight-don't be a Skype stranger-and thanks for the Skype recording tip-thanks to you we have our first "listenable" podcast!
Thanks again,
Shannon
As you can see from the date of this comment, I'm a bit behind in listening to your 'cast, but I'm getting caught up. I enjoy the content of your show very much. I hope later episodes will have a more even, constant sound level, as your studio parts are almost always several notches (on the volume control) lower than the music parts. Please consider doing your voice parts louder, as the whole is none too loud.
As for your questions, the weirdest thing I've ever knit was a variegated pink, fun-fur uterus for a friend who was having a hysterectomy. I found the pattern online free and had a blast explaining it to dumbfounded people when they asked me about the "hat" they thought I was knitting.
As for how I view my knitting, I see it as a craft. It requires practice and specialized skills and is not something just anyone can pick up and do with no problems or need for guidance. Some people are fiber artists, as they're creating new patterns and pushing the boundaries. Not me. At least not at this stage in the game.
Thanks for your podcast,
Toni
